We can't wait to gather with you on Friday, February 28, 2025 at Ruby Retreats in Wimberley, TX. We've got some info and reminders to help you plan for the evening, arrive with ease, and make the most of our beautiful time together.

GETTING THERE

Check out the address + Google map here at the Ruby Retreats website. It is the Lodging Retreat address at 11801 FM 2325 Wimberley, TX 78676

Keep in mind: The Ruby Retreats also shows 1191 FM 2324, Wimberley, TX, 78576, but go to the one that has the houses by the road.

There are two entrances to Ruby Retreats. We’ll have a sandwich board posted by our entrance, so keep an eye out for that. Once you enter the gate, turn left and park in that parking lot. Call us if you’re turned around, lost, or need an assist:

Cell reception is a bit spotty, so try WhatsApp as an online way to get in touch.

WHAT TO BRING

Comfortable clothing with layers allowing for warmer and cooler temps—if weather allows, we’ll be outdoors for part of the event and indoors for dining and storytelling.
Comfortable walking shoes. There is a short hike up to the moon tower and we’ll have two cars and a Polaris for those who prefer not to make the short hike. It is a slightly elevated and rocky trail.
A lawn chair that is easy to transport.
A blanket that you don't mind using outside. We’ll have a few blankets, but feel free to bring your own.
A lantern or flashlight for walking to the tower. We’ll also have some on hand.
Your preferred bug spray because Texas.
A journal and pen to capture your insights.
A water bottle + portable coffee mug if you have a favorite; we'll also have cups for tea and water onsite.

HEALTH + WELL-BEING

If you are feeling ill on the days leading up to the event or the day of, please rest and renew at home.

You will be refunded $140 (includes transaction fees) upon confirming cancellation with Monica.

6:45 - 7:45 p.m.: Guided Telescope Viewing Session with Astronomical Commentary
7:45 - 9:00 p.m.: Reading the Sky as Story - Introduction to Celestial Navigation and Greek Mythology
